4 Step Video Marketing Strategy Blueprint
So here is the meat and potatoes, the 4 step video marketing strategy template that you can start implementing today in your business.
Step 1 – Introduction
This is kind of a no brainer and I really hope that you are already doing this step in all of your videos. In this step you just want to give a quick introduction and tell people who you are. Remember though, do not keep this section too long because if you do then you will lose your audience before you have even started to give them what they came to your video for, it is important not to bore them to death!
Step 2 – Question
The next part of this video marketing strategy you want to identify the problem that you are going to solve for your audience. This is the part where you are going to grab their attention and let them know that you can help them solve whatever problem it is that they are having. You can even let them know at this point if you have something to give away at the end of the video or anything else that might entice them to stay on your video and watch it to the end.
Step 3 – Content
This is the step where you are going to give your audience some really good valuable content that they will be able to implement into their business or life. Remember it is very important to make sure that you are giving them content and not simply trying to sell them even if you have something that you want them to buy or do at the end of the video. This is your chance to begin to get them to trust you and know that you have their best interests at heart and that you are not just trying to make a dollar off them.

Step 4 – Call To Action
This is very important and all too often people are not doing this step properly and in some cases not even doing it at all. This is your chance to get the person watching your video to do whatever it is you were wanting them to do whether it is clicking on a link and opting into your list, commenting on your video, sharing your video, popping over to your blog etc. So if you don’t get this right, your audience will never do it. Remember most people watching your video are looking for a leader, someone to tell them the steps they need to take to grow their business.
So here is a quick YouTube marketing tip for you, when you are at the end of your video actually tell them with your own words what you want them to do, do not just add a picture in the end of your video with your webpage url or anything of that nature. Just a quick reminder, make sure that you have given them some valuable content before you move onto this part of this “video marketing strategy”.
